Since 1991 we manufacture blood gas sampling syringes, plastic capillaries, capillary blood collection systems and blood gas collections systems for blood collection. Our company, SC- Sanguis Counting-Kontrollblutherstellungs- und Vertriebs GmbH, was established by a merger of specialists of the divisions blood gas analysis, plastic technology and haematology.
In the field of medical technology we produce blood collection systems, plastic capillaries, haematocrit-capillaries and further accessories for blood collection. Our capillary blood collection systems as well as our blood gas sampling syringes are especially suitable for the blood collection of smaller patients and patients with poor veins. Always focussing the customer satisfaction we also comply with individual customer requirements during our manufacture and prepare capillary blood collections systems, blood gas sampling syringes and blood gas capillaries for blood collection in special designed models.
Apart from our blood gas sampling systems we offer various plastic capillaries, for example, end-to-end capillaries or blood gas capillaries varying in volumes and preparations. Our capillary blood collection systems own a turn-lock and hinge fitting fastener or a screw cap in order to avoid an aerosol effect. The blood gas capillaries consist of chemically neutral plastics and are fracture-proof. According to their requirements they are heparinized or neutral and are suitable for all conventional blood gas analyzers. Depending on their length the plastic blood gas capillaries are delivered in dispensers or packed in PE-bags. Our end-to-end capillaries are produced of chemically neutral and fracture-proof plastic as well. They can be covered either with EDTA di-potassium salt or with sodium heparin or with a neutral coating. As a matter of course the conformity of our end-to-end capillaries is certified. The haematocrit capillaries are available with a heparinized coating or neutrally covered.
The blood gas sampling systems A-K-fix are used for the arterial blood collection and are produced of gas-impermeable material. In order to be able to be convinced of the quality and the easy handling of our blood gas sampling systems we recommend to order samples of our blood gas capillaries, blood gas sampling systems, closing caps and luer adaptors. Our blood gas sampling syringes can also be used for the arterial blood collection. They are covered with heparin and are designed for a single usage. Blood gas sampling syringes are offered in 2ml and 1ml volume.
